Kenji Yamada became our Chairman in April 2021. He started his career at The Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited) in April 1985. After serving in various key positions, Mr. Yamada became Director and President of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust General Service Co., Ltd. In April 2018 and Director and President of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Business Service Co., Ltd. in June 2018.

Noriaki Maruyama became our President and CEO in April 2014. He started his career at The Tokai Bank, Ltd. (currently in MUFG Bank, Ltd.) in April 1989. After joining E Loan, Inc. (currently SBI Holdings, Inc.), Mr. Maruyama served in various key positions, including Director of SBI Holdings, Inc. and Representative Director, Chairman and CEO of SBI Mortgages, Inc. (currently SBI ARUHI Corporation). Mr. Maruyama concurrently serves as Chairman of the Board and CEO of THEMIX Data, Inc. , Chairman of the Board and CEO of THEMIX Green, Inc. and Director of Mapry Corporation.

Tomokazu Yokoi became our Director, Deputy President, and Executive Officer, General Manager of Corporate Division in April 2024. He started his career at The Tokai Bank, Ltd. (currently in MUFG Bank, Ltd.) in April 1990. Mr. Yokoi served in various key positions, including Director of SBI Mortgages, Inc. (currently SBI ARUHI Corporation).

Gen Ozaki became our Director and Managing Executive Officer in January 2021. He started his career at The Hokkaido Takushoku Bank, Ltd. in April 1991. Prior to being seconded to us, Mr. Ozaki joined The Chuo Trust and Banking Company, Limited (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited) in November 1998.

Manatomo Yoneyama became our Outside Director in April 2021. He started his career at The Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited) in April 1991. Mr. Yoneyama concurrently serves as Managing Executive Officer of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings, Inc., Director and Managing Executive Officer of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited., Outside Director of Japan Securities Depository Center, Incorporated., and Director of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust (Ireland) Limited.

Tomoya Asakura became our Outside Director in December 2021. He started his career at The Hokkaido Takushoku Bank, Ltd. in April 1989. Mr. Asakura concurrently serves as President and CEO of Wealth Advisor Co., Ltd., Representative Director, Executive Officer and President of SBI Global Asset Management Co., Ltd., Executive Chairman of SBI Estate Finance Co., Ltd., Director of SBI Insurance Group Co., Ltd., Director of SBI Alternative Asset Management Co., Ltd., Director of Carret Holdings, Inc., Director of SBI Regional Business Succession Investment Co., Ltd., Director of SBI Asset Management Group Co., Ltd., Director of SBI NEO FINANCIAL SERVICES Co., Ltd., Director, Senior Executive Vice President of SBI Holdings, Inc., and Director of SBI Okasan Asset Management Co., Ltd., President and CEO SBI Asset Management Co., Ltd., Director of Rheos Capital Works Inc., and Director of SBI Smart Energy Co., Ltd.

Yukihito Machida became our Outside Director in January 2021. He is registered as an attorney-at-law and started his career at Tokyo City Law Office (currently City Yuwa Law Office). After registering as a member of the New York State Bar, Mr. Machida served in Corporate Disclosure Section of the Financial Services Agency’s General Planning Bureau. He concurrently works at Atsumi Sakai Law Office.

Hitoshi Hatta became our Outside Director in January 2021. He started his career at the Ministry of Finance of Japan in April 1980. Prior to joining us, Mr. Hatta served as Advisor, Managing Director, Executive Officer, CCO and CISO of Lifenet Insurance Company.

Tomohisa Takeda became our Outside Director in January 2021. He started his career at the Bank of Japan in April 1981. Mr. Takeda served in various key positions at governmental agencies, including the Committee on Policy Matters and System Information Bureau. He has been registered as attorney-at-law since November 2018 and established Tomohisa Takeda Law Office.

Tamotsu Moriyama became our Outside Director in January 2021. He started his career at Ota Showa Audit Corporation (currently Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC) in October 1994. Mr. Moriyama concurrently serves as President and Representative Director of Maxus Corporate Advisory Inc. and Outside Director of PROPOLIFE Inc. (currently LOGPROSTYLE GROUP INC.).

Toshiro Ishizaki became our Full-time Outside Audit and Supervisory Board Member in April 2021. He started his career at The Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited) in April 1984. Mr. Ishizaki also served as General Manager of the Internal Audit Department of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited and Director and Audit Committee Member of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Asset Management Co., Ltd.

Toshiharu Fujita became our Full-time Outside Audit and Supervisory Board Member in June 2014. He started his career at Kumagai Gumi Co., Ltd. in April 1979. Mr. Fujita served in various key positions, including Director of Esubiiai Asset Management Co., Ltd. (currently SBI Asset Management Co., Ltd.), Director and Executive Officer of Softbank Investment Co., Ltd. (currently SBI Investment Co., Ltd.) and Executive Officer in charge of the Legal Department and General Manager of the Compliance Headquarters of SBI Holdings, Inc.

Mariko Hidaka became our Outside Audit and Supervisory Board Member in January 2021. She started her career at Chuo Audit Corporation in April 1984 and registered as a certified public accountant in April 1987. Ms. Hidaka joined ShinNihon Audit Corporation (currently Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC) in August 2007 and established Hidaka Certified Public Accounting Office in August 2020. She concurrently serves as Outside Director of Tosoh Corporation and Director and Audit Committee Member of Kyokuto Boeki Kaisha.

Naoyuki Iwashita became our Outside Audit and Supervisory Board Member in January 2021. He started his career at the Bank of Japan in April 1984. Mr. Iwashita served in various key positions at the Bank of Japan and governmental agencies. He concurrently serves as Professor of School of Government at Kyoto University, Director of Distributed Autonomous Society Forum, Counselor at the Financial Services Agency, Part-time Lecturer at Osaka University, Member of the Industrial Cyber Security Study WG2 of the Ministry of Economy, Member of Financial System Counsel of the Financial Services Agency, Member of the Council for Regulatory Reform at Cabinet Office, Senior Researcher of the Japan Institute of Law and Information Systems, Director of LINE Mirai Foundation, Visiting Professor of Research Organization of Information and Systems, Advisor of International Financial City OSAKA Promotion Committee, Steering Committee Chairman of Research and development on new generation cryptography for secure wireless communication services of KDDI Research, Inc., Visiting Researcher of SBI Financial and Economic Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Advisory Board Member/Advisor of Iyogin Holdings,Inc.
